Ingredients
  1. Use 3 quart roaster
  2. 2 cloves garlic, minced on #1 cone
  3. 1 lg onion diced on #3 cone
  4. 1 lg carrot shredded on #2 cone
  5. 1 cup vegetable broth
  6. 1 tbsp lemon zest
  7. 1 1/2 cups long grain rice
  8. water accordingly
  9. 3 tbsp fresh parsley
  10. 1 tbsp cold pressed extra virgin olive oil (preferably from a dark free bottle)
Instructions
  1. Dice onions and place in bottom of rice cooker (MP5). Brown the onions and carrots together by turning heat up to medium and placing life on until you hear onions sizzling. Add the broth, lemon zest, water and rice.
  2. Add fresh parsley and oil before serving.
